I am a frequent traveller to India, and have visited different parts of the country on many occasions. I met George Abraham by chance in 2010 when I stayed at Ashley Bungalow and heard about the services provided by his Stayhomz network, which has a focus on bringing tourists to bungalows located on a variety of plantations in the southern parts of the country. I should add that Georges’ network builds on about 100 years’ family history as planters.
The property is awesome. I stayed with my friend's group. but I will give a 1-star rating only because of a property rule they mentioned on booking websites - "Unmarried couples are not allowed".... seriously? it's a big shame to keep these kinds of rules in the 21st century...
Experience was amazing. One of the best in Munnar especially in terms of ambience and view. Journey from Suryanelli town to this beauty is certainly difficult. But the view and experience is amazing.
It is a perfect place for those who do not like crowds. Calm atmosphere and views that are soothing to the eyes. Climate, food that makes you want to go again. Ramesh Chettan's loving talk, caring and Suresh Chettan's fabulous food,Amritavalliamma's always smiling face even more blessed on the trip.
